Victoria and Kirill realised which island would be the ideal and most romantic choice for their island wedding, from the very first time they got to visit Santorini. So they decided to renew their wedding vows with the famous Santorini sunset as a backdrop and make their dream come true.

 

They did not want family and friends together, as they wanted a special moment ‘for two’. And if you ‘re wondering which is the best solution for a wedding with no guests, guess what, I have the answer.

 

Their dream did come true and they eloped, the two of them with the famous caldera taking their breath away. Nowadays they still believe in fairytales as they were lucky enough to live a movie scene. As Jasmine and Alladin used to do fully in love, they ‘stepped onto the magic carpet’ and took a romantic ride.

 

The girls of Santorini Bliss Wedding did an amazing job and planned everything so carefully. Getting to know them months before the elopement, there was no doubt about the excellent result they were going to  bring to life. Inspired by the Mediterranean weather and the sea-landic nature of Greece they created a unique theme using fresh lemons with blue details in order to create a multi colour tabletop. The girls wanted the couple to live the most romantic dinner ever in this iconic hotel view.

 

The result was extraordinary and the two cutties – including us – began believing in magic.

Santorini will forever be my golden choice The ace in my sleeve. What can someone say about the caldera, the light, the blue, the people, the tavernas, the beaches… The island is one of the best vacation choices globally and of course, one of the top destinations for weddings in Europe. What if I say that this Oia elopement combines a little bit of ‘La Terra’ beauty…

 

The private house, the shoot was held was an old sailor’s house, built back in the 1600’s. Inspired by the Italian romance, and the Greek spirit, this elopement combines two different worlds in one glass of Vino!

 

The dream team of vendors, was like the national football team of Brazil back in the 00’s. No need for introduction… Beginning from Tie The Knot and Maria Sila who was responsible for the planning and design of this exquisite event and continuing with Betty Flowers Santorini who arranged all the florals. All the paper goods were Bright White’s creations. The fashion was an beautiful mix of a Made Bride by Antonea fairytale gown and Savrani Creations pair of Parisian inspired hand crafted high heels. Mariana Nomikou and Renia Bledaki were responsible for our beautiful bride’s beauty and such a bride could not wear something less than Kousvelaris’ Jewels.

 

What will truly leave you speechless are the two amazing hand created pink wedding cakes! The ‘Romantic’ one made of flowers and the ‘Elegant’ one created out of fine coloured stones! The two ingredients for the best reception.

 

This Santorini love story will forever be in my heart. Noah and Melanie, Melanie and Noah, I wish you all the best.

Mary and Anthony is a couple I will forever cherish not only for all our moments share but their ethos, respect and dignity, too. A beautiful couple that could not make it happen working with me recommended me to Mary and Anthony, and they booked me without a second thought. Moreover, they knew they had fount their dream photographer, as they had double-checked my aesthetics through Instagram and my website. Mary and Anthony’s getting ready locations were far away from each other so a second photographer was necessary, even though I prefer working alone in every event, in order to make sure that the quality and the result parallels my aesthetics. Our wedding venue was ‘Melanthia Estate’, known also with its past name ‘Dremas Estate’ in Koropi. The planning, styling and design masterpiece was all Michaela’s result, owner and planner of Make my Dream Events. She chose to combine white with green and gold details, make sure to create an elegant scenery for this so chic wedding. We completed this love story a few days later with a post wedding portrait session. Lake Doksa was our chosen location and we could not make a greater choice. Fall in love with this fairy tale as much as we did.

If you love both island vibes and salty dives then this beach inspired intimate wedding inspiration, created and designed by the planner and designer of Antonis Remmos and Yvonne Bosnjak’s wedding, Anjie Georgakopoulou, owner of Only For You events, will totally make your mind travel.

 

As an animal lover, this shoot began in the prettiest of ways. Two beautiful horses, as the main characters! Then beautiful Kiara and her beloved Jake walked into the scenery, and all you could see was honest feelings of love. The floral arrangements of the day were Studio 7 creations. The bridal gown was an amazing creation of Costarellos bridal while Jake in his Truman clothiers, looked like the summer island version of James Bond.

 

The greatest images of the day were the ones they shared their real bond, their real feelings, and this is what I try to share with all my couples. Under the colourful coral arch, kissing and hugging… Such a romantic image… Romance is the most precious ingredient for a successful wedding. Walking hand in hand holding the beloved horses while waves were crushing the black Santorini rocks.

As I love saying lately, Santorini is the ‘Gold island’. A true blessing for everyone that has visited her. It has the greatest and kindest climate and, oh my god, this gold light…

 

When a couple tends to get married in the mainland I always love suggesting a quick visit to Santorini for a next day editorial portrait session. But when an elopement stops by my mail, believe me, I cannot wait till the day I’ll shoot it.

 

This two brides intimate wedding inspiration will make you dream of fancy eras and great architecture in one of Mick Jagger’s favourite places back in the 70’s. Oh yes, Mick Jagger was a great fan of Rocabella Hotel’s view and used to visit Santorini for this particular reason, for the greatest sunsets of all.

 

Isabel and Amelia chose Crochelle’s gowns to walk into and Julia & Evita was there to create an absolute magic for their big day. They styled this elopement inspiration with such a delicate taste that even the biggest magazines would be jealous of. Especially this stained glass vitraux inspired arch, created by mother and daughter team, is something that will truly inspire many planners worldwide.

 

Colours always made my mind ‘travel’, and Betty Flowers Santorini was there to create the most amazing floral arrangements, combining all the colour palette with roses and pampas grass. What could match best? The amazing vitraux inspired three floor cake, of course.

Details have always been my thing, and if you adore them too, the colourful design and planning of the Golden Apple Weddings’ girls will surely make you want to see more. Up on the hills, on the amazing venue of ‘Don Mansion’, Elizabeth and Daniel’s story can be named a true fairy tale. Elizabeth’s fashion was a romantic mix of an amazing gown by the famous Made Bride by Antonea and a pair of hand tailored high heels, especially created for her. The floral creations were carefully designed and picked by Kay Creations, in order to give a fresh yet vintage taste in the vision of the day. Inspired by the colour vision of the day, and the tonality of the florals, talented Manousenia created an amazing suite of paper goods, we could not stop flat-laying and shoot. Such feminine details need the ‘perfect’ match, so Daniel’s fashion was an absolute trend, too. Dressed in Gucci, Lanvin and Navy & Blue and smoking his cuban Montecristo cigars in his Morgan Motors vintage car, waiting for his beloved soulmate… Such an imagery…

 

The view from the top is always amazing. Such an elopement deserves the best table setting for two, with the most fascinating view included, of course. So after our beautiful couple tied the knot, they enjoyed the delight of a nice cold French champagne, perfectly served by the Decent Bar and the best was yet to come. A few portraits with all the Rhodes beauty behind, the most romantic dinner, French romance, cuddling and kissing…

Deppie and Thanos decided to tie the knot in one of the most beautiful and graphic sceneries in Athens riviera, the famous church of Saint Nick in Anavyssos. Located in one of the most eclectic places in Attica Region near the Saronic Gulf, the church has a timeless charm as the Greek sun is painting the place with its golden light. What can I say about the bluest sea in the world and the spectacular sunset over the place… Pure romance!

The timetable was perfectly designed in order to have the best July sunset portrait session after the ceremony. Continuing, my beautiful couple shared their welcome drink with their beloved guests. Our Boheme couple had chosen an amazing mix of pampas grass with eucalyptus branches and dry ears, red peonies with salmon fresh roses in order to create ‘THE FRESH MOOD’ they wanted to share.

The famous city of Lavrio, eminent from the ancient years for its silver and marble, was the choice, I and the couple took in order to have the coolest next day portrait session. Our session was so so relaxed and the two cutties had decided to wear not the wedding day outfit but something less formal, though elegant.

After this unique portrait session full of joy, happiness and loving smiles, the moonlight find us enjoying a fine bottle of Merlot and discussing about how they met, their life together and their future plans.

I am sure that through these artistic images, Deppie and Thanos will forever be grateful of my art and will cherish these so important moments they trusted me to capture for them.
